Well it's midnight, so it has only taken me 18 months and a few hours to get back to the blog but hey it's been busy. OTE is soon to open again for the season, Wednesday March 2 and already we are arming ourselves with the good gear. After a brief flirt (2 weeks and 3 rides!)with the Ibis Mojo HD it was sold to a very happy fella in Castlemaine Vic. So I sent out for another and well here it is ready to be built up and ridden as a shop demo for all. It is a 19" and will be getting built up very soon. The first thing to go on will be the new Rock Shox Reverb seat post....looking forward to getting it all together and giving it a test run!

IMBA AUDIT

As a result of the IMBA audit done at the behest of The Office of Sport and Recreation the popular trails Kiss The Sky and Meanstreak have been closed. The focus now is to bring the existing trails up to spec and increase the flow and speed without sacrificing that edgy goat track flavour. First up Hidden Valley gets a wider bench and a sweet little gap jump. Blazing Saddles loses that tricky blind left hander with the sketchy over-the-bars rocky exit in favour of a smooth dirt berm built over rock. Choice!
